Families are the smallest familial groups on Bohemia and many different Families make up a single Clann. Some Families are more powerful than others. There are multiple factors that can influence the status of a family, some of which may include historical or contemporaneous positions of leadership within a Clann, company or the government, ownership of companies or simply abundant wealth.

• Family Finegan of Clann Fir Li (powerful family within Clann Fir Li; friendly towards Family O’Tuathail)

• Family Conroy of Clann Fearghaile (powerful family within Clann Fearghaile; antipathetic towards Family O’Tuathail)

• Mac Conboirne of Clann Tomaltaigh (did not join in the colonisation of Bohemia)
