Mining

Whilst the planet is relatively poor in precious metals and rare mineral resources, it does have many large deposits of industrial metals, which are important resources for construction and ship manufacturing. The revenue generated from the exportation of raw mineral resources only accounts for a tiny portion of the National Revenue as most of the mined minerals and metals are used in ship manufacturing and infrastructure building.
