# Energy Industry

This relates to the segment of the economy responsible for the generation and capturing of Energy in the form of both Renewable or Sustainable Energy sources as well as Nuclear Energy sources. Fossil fuel based energy production methods are strictly illegal. In light of the fact that the planet was recently terraformed, the sources of fossil fuels such as natural gas, coal and oil do not naturally exist on the planet. Any ships or machinery that depends on the use of such fuel sources therefore needs to rely on imported sources.
